TRAINING FAQ
Of course! James works with clients of all fitness levels. It is a misconception that only the super-fit work with Personal Trainers. The exercise selection is based on YOUR fitness level to provide the appropriate workout during your session with the trainer.
Each session is approximately one hour long. This is enough time to get your body working to achieve your desired goals.
For home training James will arrive 5-10 minutes before the session to set up the equipment for that day
If you are new to exercise, working with a trainer 2-3 times/week is recommended.
The plan you purchase is completely up to you. You will be advised by James as to what will suit you best.
Each session begins with a warm-up to prepare the body for exercise.
After the warm-up, James will introduce the exercises for the day and explain what muscles will be worked and why the exercises were selected. James role is to create a program that is specific to your goals and ensure each exercise is performed correctly and safely. In addition, James spends a lot of time creating workouts that are not only effective but also fun. We routinely have clients mention that they like working with a trainer because the variety of exercises keep them motivated.
You will notice after a couple of weeks that you have learned quite a few exercises!
Weight loss is the number one goal clients mention when joining a gym and working with a trainer. James will create a program that includes the appropriate amount of resistance and cardiovascular training to maximise your weight loss. James will also make recommendations for proper nutrition to assist with weight loss.
For home training our vans are stocked with all the fitness equipment necessary for your Personalised Workouts. This saves you money on gym equipment. We bring the workout to you.
Yes of course. It is a great idea to train with a partner/friends as you can share the training costs with others. This is a cost effective way of hiring a Personal Trainer
James will work with you to schedule a time that suits you best.
We train adults, seniors, athletes, corporate clients and groups.
This is not a problem. We work with individuals of all levels, experience, age and ability.
